The file sex_race_state.csv contains counts of live births by state, race of mother, sex of child, and year from 1947 
through 1968, derived from published tables in US vital statistics. Race categories are those supplied in the original tables. 

Three years of tables exist but (by error) were not digitized: 1948, 1949, and 1962
one year does not exist in this format in the original volumes: 1967
