Here are the steps we reviewed for updating the Digest issue pages. The
spreadsheet for tracking progress is here

and the issues are divided into four-year chunks.
Some of the older issue may not exist, and you can note these in the
"Status" column as "N/A" so we know we've checked them off.

Setup:
* Assumes you have a local temp folder to store image and PDF files
being moved from the Back office into Drupal
* It may be most useful to have the old site displayed on one side of
your monitor and the Drupal site on the other
In the old site:
* Select the Digest Issue in the old site to be updated in Drupal
* Select the first article in the issue
* Note (or copy) the title of the article
* Right click on the image of the pdf, on the left side of the page
* Select "Save Link as…" and save the PDF to the temp folder
* Select "Save Image as…" and save the JPG image to the temp folder
In Drupal:
* Go to the Content

* Search for the article title from the old site (above)
* Select the article in Drupal
* Select (click) on "Back to Issue"
* Select 'edit' in the Issue page
* Change the title to "The Digest"
* Set the issue type to 'Digest'
* Set the Issue number to the number of the month for this issue (Jan
= 1, Feb = 2, Mar = 3, etc.)
* Set the Issue date to the first of that month
* In the right column, uncheck "Generate automatic URL alias"
* Set the URL alias to /digest-<year>-<month>using a two-digit month,
e.g. "/digest-2019-02"
* Select 'Save'
* Select 'edit' on the issue page again
* Select 'Featured Article'
* Copy the title of the article above into the Featured Article field
o Drupal should display the titleto confirm it's recognized
* Under 'Links', in the URL field, enter "The Digest Archives"
o Drupal should display the title of this page to confirm it's
recognized
* In 'Link Text', enter "Browse the Archives"
* Select 'save'
* Select 'edit' on the issue page again
* Select 'Featured Article' (again)
* Select 'Issue Cover'
* Select 'Upload New Image'
* Select 'Choose File'
* Navigate to the temp file (above)
* Select the JPG file that was downloaded previously
* In the 'Name' Field, enter "The Digest" and the month and day (e.g.
"The Digest, February 2019"; copy this text into the Alternative
text field too.
* Select 'Save image'
* Select 'Issue Download'
* Select 'Upload new file' (the center of the three choices)
* In the Name field, enter "The Digest" and the month and day, like
the image fields above
* Select "Choose file" and navigate to the Temp folder, if necessary
* Open the PDF file for this issue
* Select "Save File"
* Select "Save" at the bottom of the page
* Select 'edit' on the issue page (again)
* Select 'Components'
* Select 'Add Two-up listing' from the components drop-down
* In the Title field, add "Research Summaries"
* Enter the second article title from the old site into the "Item"
field in Drupal
* For each of the remaining articles from this issue on the old site,
add the title as an additional 'Item' in the two-up listing component.
* Select 'Save' at the bottom of the page
* Go to the next issue in the old site (above)
You might want to empty the temp file to prevent it from getting clogged
with old contents.
