Data for research on National Security

I am writing to you and other NBER economists about research on the
economics of national security.

I continue to believe that national security is the most important subject
that is largely neglected by economic researchers. A new extensive data
catalog is available at www.nber.org/ens/feldstein/ENSA_Dataset.pdf

The first pages of the document are a table of contents indicating the
many types of data described in the rest of the attachment with links to
the data itself.

I hope that some of you will take advantage of these data.
