RE: Summer Institute 2009 - Call for Papers
We are organizing a new workshop "Political Economy Public Finance" as a
part of the NBER Summer Institute. This cross-field workshop will focus on
broad issues of the effect of political economy on government policies,
such as taxation, social insurance, monetary policy, regulations, etc. The
workshop will be held on Friday, July 17, right before the traditional
Public Economics week but also adjacent to Political Economy and a number
of macro meetings. We are hoping to bring together researchers from all
those disciplines interested in the interaction of political economy and
economic policy.
If you have a paper that you would like to present, please send it or its
abstract by March 31 to golosov_at_mit.edu
