Dear Program Members -
Austan Goolsbee is organizing the Summer Institute session on the
Economics of Taxation, which is scheduled for Thursday July 26. In
addition to a usual complement of papers, we will have a presentation
that day by Joel Slemrod on "Data Needs in Public Finance," a report
that is being prepared in conjunction with the AEA Committee on Statistics.
If you have a taxation-related paper that you would like to
present at the Summer Institute session, please email Austan by the end
of this week at goolsbee@chicagogsb.edu. Thank you - and I look forward
