Dear Program Members:
The Tax Policy and the Economy conference will be held next September
27 in Washington DC. I am working on the program, and I have several
spaces still available. The audience for this meeting is the professional
tax policy staff at many government agencies, such as CBO, OTA, Joint Tax,
and OMB. Papers must be addressed to applied issues in tax policy,
although "tax policy" has historically been defined broadly enough to
include many social insurance papers. If you have a paper that you would
be interested in presenting at this meeting, please let me know. All best
