Subject: Lund Symposium on the Economics of Substance Use
Below is a call for contributed papers for a symposium on the economics of substance use to be held at Lund University in Lund, Sweden, August 13-14, 2004. I am a member of the organizing committee. Symposium in Lund, Sweden, 13-14 August, 2004
Preliminary programme
The Symposium will take place at the School of Economics and Management in Lund. There will be four sub-themes (each with a keynote speaker):
1.. Individual behaviour (Michael Grossman)
Format
The format will be around 70 participants, about half of which will be economists and the other half non-economists, including the four keynote speakers, other invited speakers, contributed papers, and additional participants without papers. A mixture of presentations by economists and non-economists is planned. A conference volume with a selection of papers is also being planned.
Organising committee
The organising committee consists of Mats Berglund, Michael Grossman, Stig Larsson, Björn Lindgren, Petter Lundborg, and Agneta Öjehagen.
Submit an abstract
If you would like to submit a contributed paper for the Symposium on the Economics of Substance Use, please send an abstract to Petter Lundborg at Lund University Centre for Health Economics, P.O. Box 705, SE-220 07 Lund, Sweden, as soon as possible and no later than 1 February 2004.
