Dear Program Members -

     As those of you who were at the November program meeting already know,
at the end of this month, Kirsten Foss Davis will be leaving her long-term
position as director of the NBER conference department. For more than two
decades, Kirsten has provided invaluable support and advice to conference
organizers, program directors, and program members. I suspect that many of
you, who have known Kirsten for a long time, will want to contact her
directly in the next few weeks to express your thanks for her many years of
service. We all wish her well as she returns to Europe and tackles new
challenges!
