> To Our Colleagues in Public Economics,
>
> Some of you may have heard about--or even visited--our Campaign 2000 website at otpr.org, where one can search the presidential candidates' statements about taxation by topic, read our analysis of those statements, refer to short background pieces on the economics of the major issues, and track the public opinion poll results on tax questions.
>
> We've just started a new section on the website, called Editorial Opinions, which features opinion pieces on campaign-related issues written by, well, folks like you. We will include pieces by respectable economists of all political stripes, and will post the articles without comment by us. If the piece has already been published in a newspaper or magazine, we will certainly cite the original source.
>
> So, we'd welcome hearing from you if you have articles that might be appropriate for Editorial Opinions. As the website has become a standard place to go for many journalists, students, and interested citizens, adding your work to the Campaign 2000 website has the prospect of increasing the number of people your opinion reaches. Just e-mail your articles to either of us, and we'll take care of the rest.
