RE: Summer Institute 2000 Call for Papers

This summer the NBER will be holding a Public Policy and Real Estate
Markets Workshop within the Public Economics segment of its Summer
Institute. We are writing to invite you to the workshop, which will be
held on Tuesday, August 1, 2000, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

We plan to assemble a set of empirical and theoretical papers on diverse
topics in real estate economics. While we expect that several of the
papers will overlap with the field of public economics, we encourage papers
on a broad range of subjects relating to both residential and commercial
real estate. If you have a paper that you would like to present, please
send it or an abstract to the following address by April 7 to

have any questions or need additional information, please contact Kirsten
or Rob in the NBER Conference Department at 617/868-3900, fax 617/864-1825,

We hope you will be able to attend.
