As you may already know, the Senate has confirmed Ben Bernanke as a
Governor of the Fed. He has had to resign his position as an NBER Research
Associate. Grag Mankiw will be the head of the ME program again -- for
which I am very grateful.

Ben will also leave the Business Cycle Dating Committee and will be
replaced by Greg Mankiw.
