To affiliates of the NBER Monetary Economics group:

For the past few years, approximately every other year the ME group has
sponsored a project on an important topic in monetary economics,
culminating in a conference and a published volume. (Recent volumes
include those edited by Mankiw, Taylor, Romer and Romer, Mishkin.) I
seek your suggestions for our next project: Is there an exciting area
of current research (or an important area that needs to be researched)
that you think is ripe for focused attention by our group?
