To members of the NBER Monetary Economics Group:
1) We have not added any Faculty Research Fellows (FRFs) to the ME
group this year. I would welcome any nominations of younger scholars
who have appropriate interests and are doing exciting research. Please
attach a cv if you have one. Note that FRFs are literally "faculty"
fellows; researchers at the Fed and other non-academic institutions are,
unfortunately, ineligible. For a list of current ME members, go to
http://www.nber.org/programs/me/me-mem.html.
2) The ME Summer Institute will be July 16-July 19. Please hold those
dates. We are just beginning to plan the program, so if anyone has
ideas about format, papers, etc., please let me have them.
