It is that time of year when we start planning for the NBER's Summer
Institute. The Labor Studies workshops will take place during the
week of July 25, 2015 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

This summer the Labor Studies program will include a session on
Thursday July 28 devoted to new approaches to interpolating and
extrapolating treatment effects, organized by Patrick Kline.
Specifically, we hope to focus on theoretical and applied
contributions aimed at rigorously generalizing estimated treatment
effects. Like last year, we hope for close interaction between
econometricians and applied economists. Presentations in this session
will include discussants. Purely methodological and substantively
focused submissions are encouraged.
