field experiments in labor economics

Dear NBER Family Members: Sorry for the intrusion. I have been invited to
write a chapter on "Field Experiments in Labor Economics"

for volume 4 of the Handbook of Labor Economics (edited by Orley Ashenfelter
and David Card). As a start, I am beginning with a broad

net--considering everything from the early social experiments of Heather
Ross in the late 60s to more recent field experiments in small-scale labor
markets.

I am sure that I am aware of only a subset of relevant material, and likely
have missed many recent working papers. Thus, in an effort to be as
comprehensive as possible, I am writing to solicit advice on relevant
literature. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Best,

John
