RE: Call for Papers, Joint CRIW-NBER Summer Institute Session

The NBER and CRIW are continuing an initiative whose goal is to increase
further the professional interactions among producers and users of
government economic statistics. To that end, in summer 2009 the NBER's
Productivity Program and the CRIW will jointly sponsor a workshop to be
held on Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 14 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The purpose of this email is to invite you to submit proposed papers in PDF
format or a format readable by Word to all three workshop co-organizers no
later than March 20, 2009:

Ernst Berndt - eberndt_at_mit.edu
Carol Corrado - carol.corrado_at_conference-board.org
Charles Hulten - hulten_at_econ.umd.edu

Invitations will be sent out by April 17. Selected papers will need to be
completed and sent to the NBER by mid-June.

Travel expenses for presenters and discussants will be reimbursed in
accordance with the NBER travel guidelines. Due to budget constraints,
however, expenses for other participants and the full cost of international
travel cannot be covered. The NBER Conference Department will assist in
making lodging and other logistical arrangements.

If you have any questions, please contact Rob Shannon in the NBER's
Conference Department at 617/868-3900 or rshannon_at_nber.org.
