Dear ITI group:
I write with several announcements. First, I am pleased to announce the appointment of new faculty research fellows and research associates:

Second, I write with preliminary logistical information on the ITI summer institute, which will be held July 11-14. You will recall that last year we met at the Kendall Square Marriott, after which I distributed a brief survey. Nearly everyone found that location acceptable, though there was some preference for the Royal Sonesta. It turns out that accommodation at the Royal Sonesta is too limited (and accommodation at the Marlowe is unavailable) so we will be meeting again at the Kendall Square Marriott.
Potentially more serious is the timing of the International Trade and Macroeconomics (ITM) working group, which normally has met on Tuesday afternoon, with ITI adjourning at lunch that day. Again due to space constraints, the ITM group has been moved to Thursday afternoon, July 14, and will be meeting at the Royal Sonesta. To facilitate people attending ITI on Thursday morning and ITM on Thursday afternoon, the ITI meeting will also take place at the Royal Sonesta that morning. So the ITI meetings will be held at the Kendall Square Marriott during Monday - Wednesday (and that is where our hotel accommodation will be), and then shifting to the Royal Sonesta for Thursday morning.
You can expect to see the agenda and formal invitations to these meeting before too long. The ITI meeting is being organized by Dave Donaldson and Marc Muendler. I look forward to seeing you at the summer institute!
