Greetings:

Pol Antras and Fabio Ghironi will organize the session on
International Trade and Macroeconomics (ITM) at this year's Summer
Institute. The session will take place in the afternoon of Tuesday,
July 10, 2012.

We welcome submissions of theoretical and empirical work at the
intersection of international trade and international
macroeconomics. Topics of interest include (but are not restricted to):

- Macroeconomic models of international interdependence and policy
with micro-level firm dynamics (including entry, export, and/or FDI decisions);
- Interactions of trade and monetary and/or fiscal policy;
- Empirical analysis of international relative prices and their
aggregate implications;
- Empirical analysis of trade and investment patterns and their
aggregate implications.

If you have a paper that you would like to present in this ITM
session, please upload it in pdf format to this link by March 30,
2012: http://www.nber.org/confsubmit/backend/cfp?id=SI12ITM

Preference will be given to papers that are not already beyond the
revise and resubmit stage of submission to a journal or a conference volume.

Feel free to circulate this call for papers and/or suggest
interesting papers written by others. We especially welcome
submissions of junior colleagues who might benefit from exposure to
the NBER (and vice versa). If you have questions or suggestions,
please contact the organizers at pantras_at_fas.harvard.edu and
fabio.ghironi_at_bc.edu.

We forward to seeing you in Cambridge!

Sincerely,

Pol Antras and Fabio Ghironi
