Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to Exchange Rates and Prices, a
conference to be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on December
6th and 7th, 2007.

This one-and-a-half day conference will bring together a small number
of distinguished researchers to present and discuss papers that analyze
international linkages in prices, with an emphasis on fostering a dialogue
between researchers with microeconomic and macroeconomic expertise in this
theme. The program includes papers on the dynamics of exchange-rate
adjustments, the role of currency invoicing on import-price sensitivities,
and the implications of recent exchange-rate movements for real economic
adjustment. Our keynote speaker on Thursday is Professor Paul Krugman. A
panel discussion on Friday will address the theme of “Pricing, Current
Account Adjustment, and Policy”.

Further details about the conference speakers and discussants are
available at

https://www.newyorkfed.org/registration/research/exchangerates/form.cfm

On this site you will find a link to the registration. Please
complete the registration no later than November 15, 2007.

We hope to see you in December.

                                          Kind regards,
