RE: Call for Papers, NBER India Meeting, December 16, 2005
The next National Bureau of Economic Research meeting on the
Indian Economy will be held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Friday,
December 16, 2005.
This meeting promotes India-related research, broadly defined,
and the exchange of views between US-based India specialists and NBER
members who have an interest in India but may not otherwise be India
specialists. The meeting does not publish proceedings or issue NBER working
papers - most of the papers are presumed to be published later in journals.
If you are interested in presenting a paper this year, please
email a PDF version to Mihir Desai at <mdesai@hbs.edu>. The deadline for
submission is November 14, 2005. Only authors of accepted papers will be
contacted.
Preference is given to empirically oriented papers that have
been completed by the time of submission but early drafts are also welcome.
The travel and hotel costs for the authors and discussants will be covered
by the NBER.
