Dear ITI group:

As you know, the dates for the upcoming program meetings are:

FALL meeting: December 1-2, at the NBER in Palo Alto
SPRING meeting: March 16-17, 2001 at the NBER in Cambridge

I am writing to inform you that at the SPRING meeting, the agenda
will be a set of papers being prepared for a volume on empirical
topics in trade, being edited by James Harrigan. These papers include:

Issues in Empirical Trade: Edward Leamer
Factor Content of Trade: Donald Davis/David Weinstein
Specialization/Comparative Advantage/Testing Neoclassical theory: James
Harrigan
Trade and Wages: Rob Feenstra/Gordon Hanson
Micro panel/plant level studies: James Tybout
Dumping: Thomas Prusa/Bruce Blonigen
Multinationals: James Markusen and Keith Maskus
FDI - Robert Lipsey
Economic Geography: Tony Venables

Thus, persons wanting to present a paper on their current research should
plan to do so at the FALL meeting. Papers or obstracts for the Fall meeting
should be sent directly to me, by OCTOBER 1.
