Subject: Upcoming ITI meetings

Dear ITI group:
The dates for the upcoming program meetings are:
Fall meeting: December 1-2, at the NBER in Palo Alto
Spring meeting: March 17-18, 2001 at the NBER in Cambridge
Papers or obstracts for the Fall meeting should be
sent directly to me during the next month, by OCTOBER 1.
Since we will now be having two program meeting per
year, in addition to the summer institute, I believe
that there is room to include a paper or two from
non-Bureau affiliates at the Fall and Spring meetings.
There will not be a general call for such papers, but
rather, we should consider papers from people located
nearby to the meeting place. If you have such suggestions,
especially from younger people, please just pass them
onto me.
The summer institute in 2001 will be organized by Jim
Rauch and Gordon Hanson. Our thanks to Ed Leamer for
serving as organizer during the past two years.
