Graduate Student Invitations to the IO Summer Institute

Jim Poterba wrote to each NBER family member last month to ask you to contact me by May 22 if you had graduate students you thought should be invited to the IO Summer Institute meetings.  At this point, I have received 6 requests for graduate student invitations.  To those of you who have not nominated students,  I think we could accommodate about 6 additional students

If you have a student you would like to be invited to the program meeting, held on July 17 and 18, please let me know within the next day or two.  Please coordinate with others at your university so that I have no more than 2 student nominations per school.  Please indicate whether the students are on the market next year, as we will give priority to those students if we receive more nominations than we have space for.

The students are invited to breakfast and lunch, but not to the program meeting dinner on Friday night.  All travel and hotel expenses should be covered by their home department.

Invitations must go out this week, so I need a quick reply if you intend to nominate anyone.

Thanks,
Nancy
