The NBER research program in Industrial Organization will hold its Winter
2008 meeting at the Stanford NBER from
noon on Friday, February
8 through Saturday, February 9, 2008. We will be holding the Friday
afternoon meeting joint with members of the NBER's new research program
in Environmental and Energy Economics (EEE). The IO program
will be organized by Nancy Rose and Erin Mansur; Erin and Catherine
Wolfram will be co-organizing the joint session.
The IO program meeting is used to discuss current research on topics in
applied industrial organization. Our ideal is research at the
working paper stage. For the joint session, we are interested in
work at the intersection of industrial organization and energy or
environmental economics.
To ensure that completed papers are available for distribution prior to
the meeting, we will decide the program based primarily on submissions of
draft papers. These are the papers that will be circulated to
participants unless a revised version is received by the NBER conference
department by January 17, 2007.
If you have a paper you would like to present,
please send a copy of
the paper, including a detailed abstract, to the organizers
no
later than November 26, 2007.
Electronic submissions are preferred. These may be sent in PDF or
