There are two possible dates I'm considering for the IO Summer Institute
this year:

Thursday - Friday, July 25-26: this would allow researchers to combine the
IO and Productivity summer institute programs (The IO program meeting would
not be joint, but it would be contiguous). There is interest in scheduling
a day on innovation and organizations, probably on Wednesday, July 24
(possibly jointly sponsored between IO and Productivity). This schedule
would make it much easier to attend both events.

Monday-Tuesday, July 28-29: This is the week that health care, law and
economics, and environmental economics are tentatively scheduled to
meet. Holding the meeting on these days would make joint attendance easier
for those who participate in one of the other programs, and might bring a
few participants who do not normally come to IO into our audience (there
are no plans to hold anything joint with this programs).

The first dates are comparable to this past summer's schedule, which I know
created conflicts for some of you. Please let me know if you have
conflicts or strong preferences across these dates that would affect your
participation in the program meeting. No one date will work for everyone,
but I will try to choose a date that is least inconvenient.

Thanks,

Nancy Rose
