Please join me in congratulating Gita Gopinath on her selection as

Gita will begin her new role in January 2019, trading her "IFM"
responsibilities for "IMF" duties. I am very grateful to Pierre-Olivier
Gourinchas, who has agreed to shoulder the additional program leadership
responsibilities that shifting from co-director to director will entail.
I hope to see many of you at the program meeting in Cambridge later
