Dear NBER Researchers -

I hope that you will join me in congratulating Helene Rey, who has
been selected along with Thomas Piketty as one of the co-recipients of
the 2013 Yrjo Jahnsson Prize. This prize is awarded every other year by
the European Economic Association to a European economist under the age
of 45 who has made a theoretical or applied research contribution to
economics in Europe. The prize citation calls attention to Helene's
contributions to international finance, particularly to the study of
exchange rates and international capital flows.

Helene is a Professor of Economics at the London Business School.
She is a Research Associate in the NBER's Asset Pricing and
International Finance and Macroeconomics Programs, and many of her
papers have appeared in the NBER working paper series.

     All best wishes.

Jim
