Dear Colleagues,

The International Economics Section and the Department of Economics at
Princeton University invite applications for the Peter B. Kenen Visiting
Fellowship for 2011 -2012. One or more Fellows will be chosen to spend
an academic year in residence at Princeton as a guest of the Section and
the Department. The Fellow will be given office space and the
opportunity to pursue independent research on any topics in
international economics. The Fellow will receive a stipend as well as a
modest fund for research expenses. More senior fellows may combine our
fellowship with other sources of funding to replace up to the full
amount of their academic-year salaries at their home institutions.

The Fellowship is open to any economist who currently holds a full-time
position in a university or a research organization. I would appreciate
it if you would circulate this message to anyone whom you feel might be
interested and a good candidate.

(We are also seeking applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowships. These
positions are open to graduating PhD students and those without
permanent positions. Applicants are urged to seek a "permanent" job on
the job market and then to negotiate a postponement of starting date or
a leave of absence.)

Applications for the Kenen Fellowship (and the Post-Doctoral
Fellowships) should be submitted online at http://jobs.princeton.edu
<http://jobs.princeton.edu> . Click "Search Open Positions", an orange
link at the upper left portion of the page. Then pull down the menu
next to "Department", scroll down to "International Economics", and
click "Search" to find the listings. Applicants for the Kenen Fellowship
should submit a curriculum vitae, the names and contact information for
two references, and a statement of 750 words or less describing the
research they would undertake while visiting Princeton. Applicants for
IES (Postdoctoral) Fellowships should submit a curriculum vitae and
their job-market paper or papers. In addition, these applicants should
have three confidential letters of recommendation uploaded to the Jobs
website.

Applications for the Kenen Fellowship are due by January 15, 2011 .
Applications for the Post-Doc will be considered until the positions are
filled, but the applications will be reviewed beginning January 15 and
so those who are interested are encouraged to apply by then.
