Charles Engel and I have set up a website focused on the origin and
sustainability of large current account imbalances in major
industrialized economies.

The website contains links to academic and policy papers on the subject,
to researchers working on the topic, and other links to relevant
websites. Since we envision this as a work-in-progress, suggestions and
