Announcement of IES Fellowship in International Economics
The Department of Economics and the International Economics
Section
(formerly the International Finance Section) at Princeton University
announce the creation of an annual Fellowship in International
Economics. This fellowship will be named in honor of our esteemed
colleague and long-time Director of the International Finance Section,
Peter B. Kenen, upon his retirement from the university. The Fellow
will spend an academic year as a visitor in the Department of Economics
at Princeton, participating in the research activities of the
International Economics Section and conducting his or her own research
on topics in international economics. He or she will be relieved of all
teaching responsibilities for the year.
The fellowship will be awarded annually, on a competitive basis.
Applications are due by January 31 of each year. Applicants should
submit a curriculum vita, two letters of reference, and a short
statement of 750 words or less describing the research they would
undertake while visiting Princeton. The Fellowship, which is open to
all economists within eight years of their Ph.D. degree, will be
announced on or before February 28 of each year.
A competitive compensation package will be provided.
