Jim and Mike et al,
Ali Moghtaderi and I have been working on adjusting incidence/prevalence data for vaccine preventable diseases by different levels of disease and time aggregation.
We are in the process of extending our previous NBER working paper on childhood vaccines to incorporate diseases outbreaks.

So this about epidemics (US data only) rather than pandemics, but hope it helps.

He is a research associate in HC and HE but is on leave of absence as Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors. I am asking Tomas, HE program members, and Anup Malani, a research associate in DEV, to contact you if they have expertise or suggestions about people who you might want to contact.
