We have extended the deadline for post-doc fellowships in Disability Policy
Research until January 6, 2017. We are able to award up to three
fellowships, which provide support for one year of research at NBER’s
office in Cambridge, with a focus on the health and economic policy
implications of disability and disability policy.
These fellowships, funded by the Social Security Administration and NBER,
are targeted toward economists who are at an early stage in their research
careers or who are beginning to explore topics on disability policy. PhD
students receiving their degrees this year are also encouraged to apply.
Fellows receive a 12-month stipend of $65,000 as well as office space, use
of the Bureau's computer facilities, reimbursement for health insurance,
and a small budget for research expenses.
