* An address by James Heckman of the University of Chicago, and winner of the 2000 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, on "Developmental Origins of Health"
* Presentations by David Cutler of Harvard University and Mark Pauly of the University of Pennsylvania on current health care reform and policy followed by panel discussion.
* Presentations of new research by:
