RE: Summer Institute 2009 - Call for Papers
We are now planning for the 2009 NBER Summer Institute. The Health Care
workshop will be held on July 23 and 24 in Cambridge, MA. Please note that
the Aging and Health Economics workshops will also be held that week.
The Health Care workshop will include papers on all aspects of health
economics and health services research by economists. This includes, but
is not limited to, work on health insurance markets, the delivery of health
care, the reimbursement of health care providers, the determinants of
population health, public health insurance programs, and the interaction of
health care/insurance and the broader economy. We encourage submissions
from both NBER affiliates and outside researchers interested in
participating in the meeting.
If you have a paper you would like to present, please send an abstract or
the full paper to me at gruberj_at_economics.mit.edu by March 27, 2009.
Invitations and logistical information will be sent out in May. If you
