Position Available:
The Institute of Government and Public Affairs and the School of Public Health (Division of Health Policy and Management) at the University of Illinois at Chicago plans to (jointly) appoint an assistant/associate professor (tenure track) in health policy beginning fall 2004. Duties include developing an original research program focused on health and/or health care policy; teaching graduate courses (1.5 courses per year) in health policy, health economics, health services research, and/or applied methods; and service/public engagement activities that make their academic research accessible to the public and local and state policy makers. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or related field (e.g., public policy, health services research). Application and related materials must be received by December 15, 2003.
