I am editing (along with Jean Kimmel) a special volume for the journal:
"Public Finance and Management" (PFM) on "The Family in Public Finance".
The special issue would consist of 5-6 papers and should preferably to
be submitted in full by October. The topics will involve family and
public finance, including the marriage tax penalty, child care provision
and family leave policies, as well as any other topics involving the
government and the family. If you are aware of any economists
(including doctoral students), who might be interested in submitting an
abstract (and, practically right after a paper) on any of these topics.
I am including below some additional information on the journal, in case
it comes in handy when presenting the information to others.

INFO ON THE JOURNAL: "Public Finance and Management" (PFM) is an
international interdisciplinary journal devoted to increasing knowledge
of public finance and administration through policy analysis, empirical
research, and theoretical inquiry. It aims to publish articles that will
stimulate both scholars' and practitioners' interest in public finance
and public management. Review articles are also considered for
publication. PFM is a peer-reviewed journal with colleagues serving as
referees. It is an electronic journal solely published on the Internet
and it is indexed in Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) on CD, e-JEL
in EconLit, and EconLit. I am the editor of the journal and I am still
