NBER: Attendance at Summer Institute

Subject: Attendance at Summer Institute
From: Grossman, Michael (MGrossman@gc.cuny.edu)
Date: Thu Apr 12 2001 - 11:34:56 EDT

The room in which the summer institute will be held has a seating
capacity of approximately 50 people. Since a number of people who are
not members of the health economics program may want to attend the
institute, I would like to know how many program members plan to attend.
The NBER will reimburse your expense up to $100 per day. So if you stay
two days, the Bureau will reimburse your expenses up to $200. If you
have a grant with travel funds, you can charge the remainder to the
grant. Of course, if the grant can cover all your expenses, that would
be helpful to the Bureau. But the Bureau will reimburse expenses up to
$100 per day incurred by research associates and faculty research
fellows who attend the summer institute. For your information, The
Bureau will not reimburse expenses of attendees who do not have Bureau
affiliations.

Please tell me whether or not you will attend the summer institute as
soon as possible.
