Hi all,

I would like to let you know that the Department of Economics at Emory University has just opened a search for a tenure track assistant professor in health economics. Given your expertise in this area, I would be grateful if you would pass along this email to anyone that you think would be appropriate for the position. The text of the ad as it will appear in the Nov. JOE is below.

Thank you very much,
Sara Markowitz

I1 Health Economics

The Department of Economics at Emory University seeks to hire several economists as part of its planned expansion. Among various searches, we would like to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in health economics. Advanced assistant professors and those near tenure are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D., a strong research record, and an active research agenda. Strong teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels is expected. The presence of CDC, a top medical school, and a strong school of public health provide excellent opportunities for collaborative research at Emory University. The starting date for the position is Fall 2014. Faculty representatives will be attending the AEA Meetings to conduct interviews. Women and minorities are particularly encouraged to apply. Emory University is an AA/EOE employer.

TO APPLY: Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vita, copies of recent research papers, and three reference letters, ALL sent to: apply.interfolio.com/23355.
Review of candidates will start November 30, 2013.
