NIA has issued new R03, R21 and R01 funding opportunities on
Estimating the Economic Costs of Alzheimer's Disease and Related
Dementias. The proposals are due on the standard dates (October 5
for R01s and October 16 for the others). A brief letter of intent is
due one month in advance (September 5th or 16th).

Estimating the Economic Costs of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia are widely believed
to impose great economic costs on society, but the magnitude of those
costs is unclear. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA)
encourages research on the economic costs of Alzheimer's disease and
related dementias, including direct and indirect costs to public and
private health care payers, families and other informal caregivers,
as well as labor market costs from reduced productivity or labor
force participation.

Check the full announcements for details.
