Planning is now underway for the 10th Annual Southeastern Health
Economics Study Group Conference to be held on October 26th and 27th in
Fairfax, Virginia.Last year's conference in Memphis, Tennessee received
great reviews and we hope to match that success this year. The sponsor
for this year's event will be George Mason University.

Ten papers will be accepted for presentation. The conference will consist
of a full day of presentations on Friday, October 26th and a half-day of
presentations on Saturday, October 27th. Each paper will be allotted one
hour, including 30 minutes for presentation, and 30 minutes for
discussant comments and discussion from the floor. The number of
participants in the conference will be limited. It is expected that
participants will read the papers prior to the conference, and attend
all sessions. While submissions are invited from any geographical
location, preference will be given to presenters from the Southeastern
region of the United States. The call for abstracts is attached.

If you would like to participate in this invitational conference, please
submit an abstract (maximum of two pages) in electronic format (pdf
preferred) to aevanscu_at_gmu.edu <mailto:aevanscu_at_gmu.edu> by *June 30,
2012*.Submissions may be on any aspect of health economics and may be
empirical or theoretical, but should not have been accepted for
publication prior to presentation at the conference.Authors will be
notified of acceptance on or before July 30th.Please do not hesitate to
