Subject: Job Opportunity at AHRQ

Hi Mike,

Could you please circulate the following job opportunity at AHRQ members of the NBER health economics and health care working groups?

Tom Selden, Director of AHRQ’s Division of Modeling and Simulation, within its Center for Financing, Access, and Cost Trends, is recruiting a senior-level health researcher to conduct research related to health policy and health reform. The position is at the GS-15 level and offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the division’s microsimulation model and conduct independent research on a variety of health policy and economic issues within a collegial intramural research environment. The position provides ready access to the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, excellent data processing and research support, and the opportunity to publish in peer-reviewed journals.

For further information, please contact Tom Selden at Thomas.Selden_at_ahrq.hhs.gov<mailto:Thomas.Selden_at_ahrq.hhs.gov>

Thanks very much.
