The NBER health care program will hold its next program meeting on Friday,
November 17, 2000 in Cambridge. If you have research that you would like to
present, please send a copy of a paper and/or a detailed abstract to me,
preferably electronically (as WordPerfect, Word, or PDF files).
We are planning to devote at least a part of the meeting to economic
aspects of potential health care financing reforms. We would particularly
welcome submissions that are relevant to this topic, such as estimates of
the uninsured, estimated effects of tax credits, and so on.
Also, it is not too early to think about submissions for the Frontiers in
Health Policy Research meeting in 2001. Please also let me know if you
have policy-oriented work that you would be interested in presenting next
May or June.
