Useful tip for using the grant editor

When entering usernames in the grant editor, in general you want to look
up the person using the "Find a User" tool, which is to the right of the
personnel section. I suggest looking by last name only, and if that does
not work try both formal and informal versions of the first name, eg
"William" vs "Bill".

If you are sure that they are not already in the database, please go
ahead and use the "create a new user" link underneath the find a user
tool. Then copy & paste the username into the field you want.

Usernames are used in the personnel table and also in the contacts
section under subcontracts.

Please feel free to contact me if there is something you would like the
grant editor to do that it does not.
