NYCRDC Administrator-job announcement

U.S. Bureau of the Census, Center for Economic Studies, New York Census
Research Data Center

 

The New York Census Research Data Center (NYCRDC), located at Baruch
College - CUNY in New York City, seeks an Administrator with a Ph.D. and
an empirical research background. The NYCRDC provides qualified
researchers, with approved projects, access to confidential Census
Bureau microdata. The NBER is a member of the consortium that operates
the New York Census Research Data Center.

 

The NYCRDC Administrator responsibilities include working with
researchers on proposal development, tracking project progress,
implementing the Census Bureau's policies and procedures concerning Data
Stewardship, and maintaining an active research agenda. In maintaining
an active research agenda, RDC Administrators may participate in
internal or external Census Bureau projects (with the approval of the
Principal Investigator) or develop their own proposals for projects
using Census Bureau data. The NYCRDC Administrator will be a Census
Bureau term employee and must be a U.S. citizen.
