NBER: Sad news about Beverly
Beverly Fuchs, Victor Fuchs' wife of 59 years, passed away
quietly in her sleep early Monday morning, October 15, at the age of
78. The cause was a rare form of cancer, carcinosarcoma, diagnosed
14 months ago. Vic wants to assure everyone that she was not in
pain and did not suffer. The funeral was private, but the family is
planning a memorial service on Friday, November 23, in Palo Alto at 2:00
(details will be supplied upon request).
The Fuchs' family request that no flowers be sent. If you wish to
acknowledge Beverly's passing, they request that donations be sent to a
