Dear friends,

I am sorry if you are hearing this sad news in such an impersonal
way. Ken Sokoloff passed away around noon on Monday the 21st. Ken
was a member of the Development of the American Economy program,
the Productivity program, and the Political Economy program. He
will be sorely missed.
