Dear NBER Program Members:
I am organizing a workshop during the NBER's Summer Institute on the
Economics of National Security on July 27th, 2007. I am writing to ask if
you are interested in presenting a paper.
This email is going to members of all of the NBER programs because I can
imagine possible papers from every field: the impact of terrorism and
anti-terror activities on trade, historic experience during war, public
spending on defense, defense industry contract relations, strategies for
the control of nuclear weapons, bioterrorism, insurance for terrorist
attacks, the labor market aspects of the military, etc..

You can also send them electronically to rshannon@nber.org in Word or as a
.pdf file. To be considered for this meeting, submissions must arrive no
later than MARCH 30, 2007.
