Dear EFG program members,
It is now the season to nominate people to join the NBER as Faculty
Research Fellows (typically for untenured scholars) and Research Associates
(typically for tenured scholars).
Please note that one nomination for a particular individual is sufficient
along with a link to the candidate's web page. Extensive nomination
statements are not necessary. The EFG steering committee reviews the CVs of
all nominees regardless of who nominated them. As a result, there is no
benefit to an individual from being nominated by many different people, and
no need for nomination campaigns.
