Dear EFG and ME Program Members -
I hope that you will join me in congratulating Julio Rotemberg,
the William Ziegler Professor of Business Administration at Harvard
Business School, past editor of the NBER Macro Annual, and a Research
Associate in both the EFG and ME programs, who has been named a
Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association. The award
citation notes that Julio's "collective work has helped to lay the
foundation for New Keynesian macroeconomics ... and provided micro
foundations for macroeconomic rigidities."
