Dear NBER Colleagues -

Olivier Blanchard has asked me to call your attention to the IMF
Fellowship Program, which is now in its fourth year. The program
supports policy-relevant research of interest to the international
financial community. Fellows spend their year working on mutually
agreed upon topics that are relevant for the work of the IMF. They
receive competitive salaries and benefits, as well as allowances for
relocation and conference travel. A full description of the fellowship
program can be found at:

http://www.imf.org/external/np/res/fellowship/

Applicants are expected to have a substantial research record in leading
journals and a strong interest in the work conducted at the IMF.
Applications, consisting of a c.v., a 1-2 page outline of proposed
research projects, and links to one or two research papers, should be
submitted no later than February 28, 2015 to
imffellowshipprogram_at_imf.org. Fellows will be selected by April 2015.

This fellowship program was launched in 2011. Past fellows include
Charles Calomiris, Olivier Coibion, Chris Erceg, Olivier Jeanne, Sebnem
Kalemli-Ozcan, Anton Korinek, Andrew Levin, Alberto Martin, Lars
Svensson, and Viktor Tsyrennikov.

I hope that this is of interest. All best wishes.

Jim Poterba
